Our Society sponsors an annual judged violet show and sale in early spring. Members enter their best plants for judging to win ribbons and prizes. Enjoy seeing show plants, including specimens, standards, trailers, miniatures, semiminiatures, and other gesneriads. African Violets will be shown in terrariums, dish gardens, and natural gardens as well as cut flower and underwater arrangements. Our education exhibit has information on all aspects of growing and caring for these wonderful house plants! Commercially grown plants from Lyndon Lyon Greenhouse are available for purchase. Members plants, leaves, and rooted leaves are also for sale. Admission is FREE and open to the public.
