Locations

While we are based in West Hartford, we cover the greater Hartford area on both sides of the river and also out to surrounding communities within a reasonable distance.

• Your Place
If you or a friend/relative has a large enough kitchen suitable for entertaining the group you have in mind, we'll help plan and prepare it for your party. Otherwise, if you would rather not host your event at home, we also offer several kitchen venues in the area.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our other locations listed below are currently NOT AVAILABLE.

• OIC, North St, New Britain
This facility is centrally located and convenient to CT-9. The building used to be a parochial school and the kitchen has modern commercial equipment including a new 6-burner range and a convection oven. There is also a large hall for sit-down dining after cooking. Alcohol is allowed BYOB. (click here for photos)

The following venues are appropriate for scout troops, educational and civic organizations:

• Conard High School, Beechwood Rd, West Hartford
This fully equipped home economics classroom includes 6 complete kitchens, each with a range, sink, small appliances (stand mixers, griddles, etc.) and plenty of counter space. It also has a commercial convection oven. It can accommodate up to 10 cooking teams of 2 or 3 persons, or event sizes of up to 20 people. Alcohol is prohibited on-campus. (click here for photos)

• Hall High School, North Main St, West Hartford
This fully equipped home economics classroom includes 6 complete kitchens, each with a range, sink, small appliances (stand mixers, griddles, etc.) and plenty of counter space. It also has a commercial convection oven. It can accommodate up to 6 cooking teams of 2 or 3 persons, or event sizes of 12-18 people. Alcohol is prohibited on-campus.

• Farmington High School, Monteith Dr, Farmington
This professional kitchen classroom includes a commercial range, commercial convection oven, several sinks, and lots of counter space. It can accommodate up to 5 cooking teams of 2 or 3 persons, or event sizes of 8-15 people. Alcohol is prohibited on-campus.

BYOB:
Events at Holland Kitchens, Holloways, and Chefs Emporium are hosted BYOB. We'll provide the glassware and opener, and you may bring a bottle of wine. If you (and others) choose to share, we can turn the event into a wine tasting as well as dinner. Events at public schools are alcohol-free.

Special Events:
We can also provide a unique experience for special events such as fundraisers, corporate functions, and team building. Some party themes can even be run on-site without a kitchen. We can supply the equipment. Please contact us to discuss your event!

Stuff:
Party to Cook will provide the food, supplies, and even aprons with our logo. However, due to the nature of kitchen activities, you should dress appropriately for cooking as we can't be held responsible for your cleaning bill.

Milage:
Prices include milage to/from your event location in West Hartford. We add milage at the standard IRS rate for parties requiring additional travel.
